This legendary spot, dating back to the 1920s, is a unique hotel with a unique heritage. Opened by King George V, it was taken over by glamorous Hollywood impresarios, the Danzigers, who brought the A list here to play.

All bedrooms feature deep, hand made wool carpets, relaxing leather beds with matching bedside tables by Italian designers Cattelan and occassional furniture by Philippe Hurel upholstered in tactile chenille fabrics for a luxurious feel. Each room features Bang & Olufsen television with digital entertainment system, triple glazed windows and customised minibar stocked to order. Sicilian marble bathrooms are refreshingley spacious, featuring steam free shaving mirrors and full sized luxury Gilchrist and Soames products.
Deep hand-made wool carpets, chic leather beds and furniture by the Italian designer, Cattelan Italia, all combine to offer decadent, luxury bedrooms. These satisfyingly large rooms contain Vi-Spring mattresses on every bed, Sicilian marble bathrooms with Gilchrist and Soames products, ergonomically designed workspaces and full in-room entertainment system including Bang & Olufsen TV. Other features include a minibar, triple glazing for total peace in the heart of the city, and complimentary wireless internet access.
Deluxe king rooms have all the features of superior rooms plus super comfortable king-size beds, separate power shower, walk-in/walk-through wardrobe, outdoor terraces (selected rooms only) and bathroom TV (selected deluxe rooms only).
The Amba Bar and Grill is the epitome of style and luxury with its open theatre kitchen, leather upholstery, granite flooring and rich amber wall coverings, serving imaginative but unpretentious seasonal British food.
The May Fair Bar with its mohair sofas and grey leather chairs serves some of the best Mojitos, Bellinis and Cosmopolitans in London - a great addition to this luxury London hotel.
